About Sullivan

Welcome to Sullivan Elementary School’s website!

My name is Nikki Krause and I am the principal at this wonderful school.  This is the beginning of my 27th year in education, 23 of which I have proudly served in the School District of Jefferson. 

We have three elementary buildings in our district. Sullivan Elementary is located in the town of Sullivan. Our school is next to a beautiful park and wildlife habitat.  It is only a few miles from I-94 close to Lake Country, Oconomowoc, and Kettle Moraine.  We have approximately 150 students in grades K4- 5th. 

Sullivan was named a National Blue Ribbon School in 2022 for being an Exemplary High Performing School. This began with a nomination by the Wisconsin Department of Instruction. As a team, we filled out the nomination form and were selected and honored in Washington, D.C. in November, 2022! We are so proud of our Stinger students, staff, and families!

Sullivan Elementary has long prided itself on our students, families and community. Our staff works collaboratively to provide high quality instruction for students to learn at high levels.  Students receive comprehensive, research-driven and evidence-based instruction at Sullivan. We also have WIN (What I Need) time four days a week for 30 minutes a day where students are engaged in targeted interventions or enrichment activities to enhance their learning and growth. Sullivan also offers a variety of enrichment opportunities for our students

We are thankful for our PATHS (Parents And Teachers Helping Students) organization! Their support and dedication supports our belief in strong home-school connections.
